“For a glance, a world; for a smile, a sky; for a kiss… I don’t know what I would give you for a kiss!”, Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer.
Western culture makes water everywhere and it is that rationalism flooded it, discrediting metaphysics, a science that the Greeks like Aristotle cultivated, and theology that, as a scientific method, is independent of religions.
Synthesizing, metaphysics says that there is an order in the cosmos for the development of life that the smallness of man cannot alter, and theology ensures that God has created the universe for good, “in his image and likeness”, and this omnipotence not even remotely can be challenged by the human brain. Thus, the “religious” who do not follow theology should review their beliefs because they are esoteric, fetishistic.
That is why rationalism – pseudo religion and pseudo-science, said the prominent epistemologist Paul Feyerabend – that seeks to control the cosmos with human “reason” needs to discredit metaphysics and theology. And has created the modern States that believe they can care for and even designing human life (the “new normal”).
From these sciences it emerges that there can be no natural threats against the development and growth of life, that is, the possibility of the existence of a “pandemic” that puts humanity in check and those who believe this also ignore the common sense (sensus communis), as described by Thomas Aquinas, which unifies the data of the perceptual episode, and gives the subject the certainty of the fact that he is seeing, hearing, and so on.
On the contrary, fantasy or imagination according to Thomas is a cognitive instrument that creates real events only thought of by the human mind. As Feyerabend points out, the common sense of people whose own interests are at stake is usually much more accurate than the decisions – the fantasies – of distant rationalist “experts” up in an ivory tower ridiculous to the point of saying that working and socializing it is not healthy.
It is these “experts” who invented this false pandemic that the numbers deny, since the total deaths in the world almost a year and a half after it began are only 0.04% of the global population. And now, they try to scare with the number of infections, but of course they make sure not to reveal that the normal thing is that, in a flu season, around 70% of the population gets infected, that is, more than 5 billion people, and the vast majority never get to know.
As tests increase every day, more cases are detected and governments use the “increase in cases” to scare, and people in panic aggravate their situation and go to hospitals with minimal symptoms. And, in addition to the very serious consequences of the confinements, they want to leave us without the kiss whose international day was celebrated on April 13 and which is a universal manifestation of affection and joy that already appeared in the Old Testament.
Some scientists believe that kissing is an instinctive behavior with roots in biology. Along with oxytocin and dopamine that cause affection and euphoria, kissing releases serotonin, another substance that increases well-being and happiness, and mobilizes 146 muscles and exchanges 80 million new bacteria, which should not be scary, it is natural.
